Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Outreach & Qualification: Proactively call inbound and outbound leads to understand their CRM needs, pain points, and business goals. Qualify leads based on fit and potential revenue.
  • Product Demonstration: Deliver compelling product demos tailored to each prospect's specific use case, highlighting features and ROI of our CRM solution.
  • Sales Closure: Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing. Negotiate terms, address objections, and guide prospects through the buying process.
  • Implementation Support: Work closely with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding. Participate in kickoff calls and facilitate a positive customer experience from day one.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, track deal progress, and provide regular pipeline updates to management.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with new clients, understand their success metrics, and serve as their primary point of contact during the sales and early implementation phases.
  • Meeting Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas in terms of both revenue and deal volume.
  • Market Feedback: Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to help improve our product and sales strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience or proven track record in software sales
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals and meeting sales targets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, targets-driven environment
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple prospects simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Willingness to learn about CRM systems, business processes, and customer industries

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Previous experience selling CRM or related enterprise software
  • Familiarity with implementation processes and customer onboarding
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and resilience to handle rejection
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using sales tools and reporting dashboards
  • Experience with CRM platforms as a user / sales person
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term business relationships
