We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Backend Engineer (A3) responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Python (Flask / FastAPI).This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs while taking end-to-end ownership of backend modules. Strong hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools is highly valued to enhance productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
Build secure and well-structured RESTful APIs with proper validation and error handling
Implement business logic, third-party integrations, and data access layers
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews
Take ownership of quality, stability, and production readiness of assigned modules
Actively use AI-assisted tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and documentation
Leverage AI to accelerate development while ensuring accuracy, security, and maintainability
Use AI for test case generation, edge-case analysis, and root cause identification
Review and validate AI-generated outputs before production deployment
Continuously explore ways to improve engineering productivity using AI
Write clean, testable, and automation-friendly backend code
Collaborate closely with Frontend, QA, and Product teams
Support QA during testing cycles and assist in defect resolution
Participate in incident analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Backend Engineers are expected to gradually gain frontend exposure using Angular and move toward full-stack feature ownership. Candidates with existing full-stack experience (Python + Angular) will have a strong advantage.
3–7 years of backend development experience
Strong expertise in Python with Flask and/or FastAPI
Experience in REST API development, authentication, and database integration
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Hands-on experience with AI tools for development productivity is highly preferred
