Job Title

Sales Executive – Travel & Tourism


About the Role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting the company’s travel services, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role involves understanding customer needs, suggesting suitable travel options, and ensuring a smooth booking experience.



Key Responsibilities

·        Identify new business opportunities through calls, meetings, emails, and social media.

·        Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

·        Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable tour packages, tickets, hotels, and other travel services.

·        Prepare and share quotations, itineraries, and proposals clearly and promptly.

·        Follow up with leads and existing customers to close sales and encourage repeat business.

·        Maintain accurate records of inquiries, leads, and bookings in the CRM or tracking system.

·        Coordinate with operations, ticketing, and accounts teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

·        Handle basic customer issues and escalate complex problems to senior staff when needed.

·        Keep up to date with travel products, destinations, offers, and competitor activities.

·        Represent the company professionally in meetings, events, and online interactions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

·        Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a specialization in tourism, business, or marketing is an advantage.

·        1–3 years of experience in sales; experience in travel, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English and Hindi).

·        Basic knowledge of travel products (flights, hotels, tour packages, geography) is a plus.

·        Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.

·        Target-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

·        Good negotiation and closing skills.
